Joe Byrne Joe is the founding President and CEO of Executivef Function. His formal graduate education and professional experience was secured in the USA at the University of Kansas and the University of Houston and in Canada at Dalhousie University. Joe holds a Doctoral degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Health Administration. Joe has practiced as a psychologist in both the private and public health sectors and held numerous management and leadership roles in the private and public healthcare sectors. Prior to founding ExecutiveFunction, Joe was founding President and CEO of Halifax Neuropsychology Clinic, a private healthcare clinic, and Chief of Psychology at the IWK Health Centre, a regional university-teaching hospital. Joe has served on many organizational, provincial and national committees and professional boards. Joe’s distinguished career has been recognized by numerous organizations, including, but not limited to, awards and citations from the American Psychological Association, Canadian Psychological Association and Johnson & Johnson Medical. Joe’s exceptional vision, innovation and sophisticated and result-oriented problem-solving skills are well known and highly valued by colleagues in the USA and Canada. Drawing upon his unique and extensive training and experience as a psychologist and healthcare administrator, Joe’s expertise is in the area of psychology of persuasion and effective management, executive decision making, conflict resolution, and effective organizational change. |
